点评:Having read about the history of the plantation, we were quite excited to visit. Unfortunately, we missed the first tour (just past 10) and the next was not until 1 (why just let us join the existing group?). So, the lady looking after the small adjacent (locked) museum / gift shop allowed us in to take a look at the few artifacts available in that building. We felt badly as she seemed nervous and very hesitant to let us in, although it was during regular, and not lunch hours. After that, we walked the grounds but that took just a few minutes.
We understand that most such places are run by volunteers, but if the site is only accessible three or four times a day, please state this clearly on your website. And if the museum is not accessible except to tours, please also note that as well. We would not have bothered to drive so far out of our way.

我们了解大多数这样的地方都是由志愿者管理的,但如果该地点每天只开放三到四次,请在您的网站上明确说明。如果博物馆除了旅游外无法进入,也请同样注意。我们不会费心开车那么远。
