点评:I was thrilled to get to know Fairbanks. It's a delightful little city filled with such nice people. Yes there is snow and it's pristeen and white...and yes it's cold but when you're bundled up, it's fine. The daylight hours were blue skies; the scenery was breathtaking; don't miss the Native Alaskan museum in Fairbanks; DO take at least one dog slide ride - a big treat; DO visit the Chena Hot springs - so serene; DO commit to the trip to the Arctic Circle via the Alaska highway - nothing else like it in the world but you gotta be ready for a long day; DO chat up the folks all around you; DO visit as many gift shops as you can - the artifacts and artwork is inspiring; Don't expect fresh fish in the winter cause you know, they catch it and FREEZE it. I loved the remoteness and the nature and all the storytelling from everybody we met.
