点评：This hotel is beautifully located as close to the Yala National Park as it is possible to be. If you like wildlife this is the place to stay. The road in is fun when you’re in a safari truck, but not great when in a normal car! On arrival our spacious lodge was very authentic with uneven wooden floors and a beautiful bed surrounded by a mosquito net. Unfortunately our lodge was missing a fridge, but it didn’t really matter. You have to be escorted from the lodge to the main hotel complex after dark, which we thought might be a bit of a gimmick, but while we were there a bull elephant wandered through the hotel and for a while there was a large salt water crocodile lying about 50 m from our door. CCTV also caught a sloth bear outside our lodge at 2am in the morning, so perhaps the escort is warranted. It’s a great location for the sunrise safaris and there are lots of them going on. Despite being a long way from anywhere else the quality and choice of food did not suffer, nor did the service. All told probably the best of the 3 Cinnamon hotels we stayed at on our visit to Sri Lanka. My only comment would be that we were booked in for B&B, but there is no option to eat anywhere else (not that you’d want to) so feels like it should offer half board or full board rates really.
