The Worst Experience for $1000 a day!

点评：This was a 10 day luxury signature experience fully accommodated tour at a cost of $10000 to Cape York via small group 4WD.
The 'luxury' 4WD's was actually one 2013 Landcruiser, still with red dirt attached from its last trip, and an air conditioner that hardly worked.
5 passengers and one guide meant 2 passengers were always in the dickie seats in the cargo area. Our luggage was strapped to the roof.
Not only was the accommodation and food basic for the most part, a WHEEL FELL OFF while we were travelling at about 80km/h.
Other safety issues included no water or accessible first aid kit carried, while coffee or tea with meals had to be paid for separately.
Roko Island was a waste of time and really dangerous boating to be had, though loved Thursday Island.
I certainly appreciated the Cape York experience, though there were significant safety issues on this tour and the trip was definitely misrepresented and overpriced.
