Cafe Glaze的点评
点评：I’ve been going to Café Glaze regularly for quite some time now, with friends, as a family, and for children’s parties, and it has become somewhere I genuinely value.
The range of pottery to paint is always excellent. Even going as often as I do, I can always find several things I’d happily choose, and if I have something particular in mind, they are always willing to look through their stock to see what else they have. Everything is consistently immaculate, well organised and thoughtfully set up, which makes the whole experience feel calm and easy from the moment you arrive.
What I appreciate most, though, is the welcome.
Over the months I’ve been going, I’ve got to know the lovely ladies who run the café, and they now make me feel so genuinely welcome whenever I visit. They remember the little things, like how I take my tea, and even serve it in a blue mug because they know blue is my favourite colour. It might sound like a small thing, but that kind of thoughtfulness really does mean a lot.
Pottery painting is something I do partly for my mental wellbeing, and Café Glaze has become a place where I can switch off, focus on something creative and feel completely comfortable.
I’ve tried pottery painting at two other local places, but Glaze is the one I keep coming back to. The huge choice of pottery and immaculate setup are part of the reason, but really it’s the warmth, care and thoughtfulness that make it special.
Thank you for creating such a lovely space. You are appreciated more than you probably know.
