点评：I have skied in La Rosiere and La Thuile every year since 1999, we used to own a chalet there and my son ran a ski holiday company there for many years, so it's an area we know very well and have many friends there.
It's about as far removed from the mega ski resorts nearby as you can be, the friends we made in th early years are still friends, the village although expanded is still the welcoming retreat we have cherished from our first visits.
I have skied in just about every major European ski resort but there is nowhere I would sooner be than the Espace San Bernardo, the contrast between La Rosire's south and south-west facing slopes and La Thule's north facing pistes gives you two resorts for the price of one. When you realise that the snow record is quite amazing, consistently in the top five French resorts for annual snow cover at a cost far removed from equivalent locations, you'll begin to understand why dedicated skiers return here year after year.
It's also offers remarkable value, it's still a family orientated resort where costs are within the reach of an average family.
In a nutshell, in my opinion, the ideal ski resort and I've already booked my next years holiday at the Relais du Petit Saint Bernard owned by my good friend Willy Arpin whose grandfather was one of the pioneers who created the resort in 1961.
