点评：Ok two reviews in one. First, we tried to get tickets to the opera but the only ones available were horribly expensive and had NO or OBSTRUCTED VIEW. This means exactly what it sounds like. You see apart from the floor seats all others ate in boxes. Each box (apart from the Royal Box) has 6 seats. Two chairs at the rail and then two high seats behind those and then another set of two high seats behind them. The further back you are in the box the more limited the view especially if you are located off to the side. In fact some seats only offer the patron the joy of listening to the performance.
We had seats at the front of a box on the first level towards the centre of La Scala looking directly at the stage. We saw the orchestra perform a number of pieces including a Schubert Symphony. It was outstanding.
The afternoon of the performance we bought tickets to tour the Museum. This included an opportunity to enter some of the boxes on the second level so we got a preview of where we would be sittting later that day! The museum was great. It was well laid out and the displays were very interesting. If you are a music or opera buff you have to do this.
