First time in Sri Lanka... great with a driver

点评：We come over with our home made itinerary and decided to let us take around for 6 days by a Srilsnkan driver. We coudn"t have made a better decision. At the airport we got Dahnu to meet us and he took a great care of us from the first moment. He was more than an expirienced driver, he became our referring point adding extra value to our tour. He suggested places to stop, view points, hidden gems we wouldnt have found on our own as first time visitors to the country, and also very good locsl restaurants.
When we strarted planning our round trip holiday we were going to rent a car and do the driving by ourselves, but glad now we changed our mind. As first time in the country it could get a bit shocking driving through some caotic roads with trucks, cars, tuk tuk and bikes all over. It also saved us lots of time,
Danhu knew exactly were to go, where to stop and gave us lots of information on the country. In 6 days with him we managed to see Chilaw, Dambulla, a nice experience in the chart and lagoon inclusive of cooking lesson, Sigyria, some art and crafts places, Pidurangala, Polonnaruwa, spice garden in Matale, Kandy with royal garden, Ambulawawa towere, Ella with nine arches bridge and tea factory, Rawana waterfalls, safari in Udulawawe and finally Tangalle. We had some very good times with him. Some good laugh and made a memorable holiday!
