Amazing guide Filippo, incredible views and the best experience

点评：What a fabulous day we had trekking around the four out of five towns in Cinque Terra with the best guide ever! A huge thank you to Filippo for making this part of our trip want to remember. Listening to his stories and finding out the history of all of the villages made the time there flyby. All of the towns had something unique to offer and the views, landscape and ease to get around Cinque Terra was worthwhile.
We first started our journey from our hotel in a taxi to the train station ( from Viareggio) with the nicest driver Mattia. He was so kind and accommodating and got us safely to the train station where we met Filippo. From there we took the ferry hopping from town to town while we learned about the history, stories, and just so much fun information and Amazing sites and views.
Then Filippo us to one of his favorite eating spots overlooking the ocean and we had an exceptional meal. There, we also met the hysterical, dynamic Andrea who served us not only amazing food, but basically kept us all laughing and smiling the whole time. All in all we took hundred pictures and had a fantastic experience with a group of charismatic, beautifully, English speaking, well educated Italians with so much knowledge
For anyone that has never been there prepared to do a lot of walking up and downstairs and uneven surfaces. Only wear good sneakers or walking shoes and do not! Do not come wearing flip-flops. Prepared to have a fun and unique day with some fabulous.
Livtours has set up tours and guides for us from Venice to Viareggio to Florence and Rome, and I cannot say enough good things about their customer service, tour guides and organization. This has been just an overwhelmingly wonderful experience.
I went with my daughter who is 11 and my mom in her late 70s so it was fun for all three generations
