点评：This is the place to go if you want a high quality archery elk hunt. I have hunted elk with two different outfitters prior to H&A Outfitters in NM and the number and quality of elk at this place was great. Andy is the owner and has hunted this area for I believe 30+ years. He tells every hunter the same, work on your fitness and bow skills and he will put you on a bull at some point during the hunt. I missed a 5x5 during middle of my hunt but connected on a 6x6 the second to last day. The part of the hunt that most impressed me about Andy was we’re pretty much had a bust of a morning hunt and were heading out of the canyon when we heard a bull bugle way up the mountain. Andy was able to pin point where that bull was going and we got ahead of him and after 45 mins of working him, I was fortunate enough to make a great shot and harvest my first Bull elk. Honest communication before the hunt and honest effort during the hunt is what I received from H&A Outfitters.
