To make matters worse, the children’s gifts were faulty and damaged, which is unacceptable given the cost and nature of the experience.
The day ended with families held for over two hours in a small, overcrowded room that became unbearably hot. A child vomited due to the conditions, yet doors and windows remained closed and no effort was made to assist the child’s mother or clean the area.
