Georgia O'Keeffe Home and Studio的点评
点评：I wasn't sure if the Georgia O'Keeffe Home & Studio Tour would be worth the ticket price. It certainly was! Our guide was Laura, and she was so knowledgeable and engaging. It was special to see the home, garden, courtyards, and studio, & imagine what it was like when Georgia O'Keeffe lived here. I loved all the stories about her - they made Georgia a real person, not just a famous artist.
One moment that I will remember: When we were in the studio, Laura held up a print of one of O'Keeffe's paintings - the painting was the beautiful view of the countryside that we were seeing out the windows at that very second.
Some tips: 1) Dress for the weather - our tour was on a very warm day, and the shuttle bus and home were not air conditioned. 2) Buy tickets well in advance - if you don't see ticket availability, continue to check since there could be cancellations. 3) Allow enough time to see the displays at the Welcome Center. 4) Enjoy a meal at Café Abiquiu - we've always been served good food here. 5) An unexpected treat for us was the sculpture garden on the grounds of the adjoining Abiquiu Inn.
