点评：We took an Alaskan cruise and Icy Strait Hoonah was a June 11th stop. We booked the 3 hr(10:30 AM-1:30 PM) Whale & Wildlife Excursion with Glacier Wind Charters. You do have to walk about 10-15 min on unpaved path to Excursion Hub. I think there were 16 people for this excursion. You are driven in a mini bus through Hoonah to the dock. You are helped aboard by(I hope I get their names right) Kyle & Mackenzie. The inside of the boat is heated and has full windows. Kyle, the driver, has a system to locate whale activity and he's good at doing it. The outside of the boat for good pictures was cold & windy, but they do have hot chocolate inside They do have some loaner binoculars. We saw numerous humpback whales, also sea otters and seals. This is a family owned operation and they take deserved pride in it(sorry for not remembering the mother's(driver) name. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this excursion!
