点评:This is definitely a “must see” - an ancient Roman aqueduct still delivering water to the city of Nimes! The admission is free, but you do have to pay for parking. I don’t know how much it was because someone drove us there. There’s a nice visitor area after a short walk from the Parking Lot. There are restrooms, a cafe and a gift shop there. The aqueduct is a good walk from the visitor center, but it is an easy walk (flat paved surface). We walked across the bottom level of the aqueduct and went down to the river bank. There were a lot of people sunbathing and splashing around in the water even thought it was a very windy day! There were kayaks available for rent north of the aqueduct. Across the river were more restrooms, an ice cream shop and a nice sit down restaurant with fabulous views of the aqueduct. We had lunch there.
