点评:My wife and I went here on a rainy afternoon. There was some construction outside the gate which made it challenging to find the entrance, though not as challenging as finding the cafe inside the garden. The weather was rainy so they were very walled up in their little area.
We used the Copenhagen Card to cover our entry fee, though the downside of this is that you cannot book a time in advance so I would suggest arriving early to avoid lines and queues or having to come back. Even though we arrived within the first hour, we still had to wait 30 minutes for an entry time. Once it is your time to enter, you all line up outside, they check tickets and you go single-file in the castle (or you can just walk up and they let you in ahead of the people in line, I did see a few people do that, I am not sure if there was a reason or process). There were a good amount of rooms in the castle to look at, but the real treasure (pun intended) were the jewels. the fine china room, and the throne area. The armory was in a second area of the castle that you had to access from a different entryway.
My wife loved the whole place and I was more annoyed with the slow moving people and tight quarters inside. We were there for about 2 hours and it was very crowded. Staff were generally pleasant but not helpful. The garden area is maintained and nice to see but not that amazing. If I would have went here before Egeskov, I may have thought differently.
