May be good for treatments, but not for Day Passes

点评：Hoping to unwind before our evening flights, we booked Day+Spa passes through Resort Pass, which granted access to the MySpa facility from 10 AM–5 PM. The cost was $175 for two guests. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of our expectations.
Due to delays disembarking from our cruise ship, we arrived at 12:30 PM. Despite our hopes for a relaxing afternoon, my companion was ready to leave after only an hour or so, and we both departed shortly thereafter. Several issues contributed to our disappointment:
1) No wristbands were provided upon arrival: This meant we had to ask staff for re-entry each time we ventured outside the spa area.
2) Steam rooms out of service: Both the ladies’ and gentlemen’s steam rooms had “Under Maintenance” signs posted, leaving only a dry sauna available.
3) Limited Amenities: No indoor plunge pools are offered at this location (completely my fault for not checking beforehand) and the tiny relaxation area had no hot water for tea making facilities. While the separate locker rooms were lovely, there were no coed spa areas.
4) Overcrowded: The only pool access offered was the outdoor pool, which was overrun with families and children.
This was not the tranquil spa experience we envisioned after a frustrating travel day. By contrast, Spa Intercontinental Barcelona (which we visited just two weeks earlier) offered a spectacular experience at a fraction of the cost, with plunge pools, functioning steam and dry saunas, loungers and more. Overall, MySpa Miami was neither relaxing nor worth the expense. I would not return to this spa, nor book through Resort Pass again, as they side with the vendor when service issues arise.
