点评：Spanish steps is one of the most Iconic places to visit when in Italy, it is located in Piazza di Spagna. We were excited to visit Spanish steps as there was a huge decorated Christmans Tree from Dior on display as we had planned our trip to Italy to be there to celebrate Christmas. We planned to spend the day at the Piazza di Spagna exploring Italy. There was a Christmas Bazaar put up there with display of Souvenirs, Italian Food Pizzas, Pastas, Bread, Cakes, Different variants of Local Wines. The Place was thronged with Tourists and Holiday Makers and loud music was Blaring out Christmas Carols. The Spanish steps starts at the Piazza di Spagna and connects with the Church of Trinita dei Monti, a beautiful Church sits at the top of the Steps. There was a huge Christmas Tree decorated by Christian Dior on top of the Steps below the Church, which was crowded with Tourists and Holiday makers and where we took many selfies and photos, It was a rewarding trip to the Spanish Steps we spend our day and evening, strolling around the Piazza and the adjoining neighborhood of Rome, Via dei Condotti, Via Frattina and Via del Babuino.
At the Centre of the Piazza di Spagna sits the Fontana della Barcaccia or Fountain of the Ugly Boat where you can sit and marvel at the View of the Spanish steps and the Church.
All around the Piazza di Spagna are the showroom of different famous Brands with the Fashion garments on display such as Prada, Moncler, Giuseppe Zanotti, Dior, Valentino, Dolce Gabana, Loewe, Aquazzura, Pucci, Chanel, these Showroom are housed in Colorful Roman Architecture. This was absolutely a visual delight to see so many famous Italian Brands in on a Piazzas.
Later walked down the Via del Roso shopping district admiring the colorful sights and the Lighted up Christmas trees.
We had a great time at the Spanish steps and is definately recommended if you plan a Vacay to Italy.
