Cafe under new management! Fantastic!

点评：Family group visit on 17th June. We went for the garden centre and Penny Arcade, and having read reviews here we almost didn’t visit the Cafe; how pleased that we did!
Trying the Cafe for a cup of tea led to two Full English breakfasts, two coffee and Lemon Tart and a portion of toast.
The staff were friendly, cheerful and attentive. The premises are clean, comfortable and the decoration includes an eclectic mix of memorabilia hanging from the ceiling.
The food really was perfect - in that nothing could be improved on. Fried eggs with runny yolk and cooked white, toast just right and plenty of butter, cutlery on tables and extra hot water delivered with the drinks. Lovely strong coffee, and that’s from someone with very high standards!
So, ignore the out-of-date reviews, visit and decide for yourself. Other customers there seemed as happy as we were, and the standard of other food we saw being served to them matched that which we ordered,
