点评:He took us to the market and explained us a lot about local ingredients, manufactures and traditions. After that we went to his family home and he told us about the history of his place and his community in Ubud. Then we started chopping and cooking various dishes with the help of two of his relatives so everything runs smoothly and finishes at the same time.
He got so many interesting things to say about Balinese cooking methods, local flavours and growing up in Balinese culture.
I don’t know what was the best part about that day - the outrageously delicious food - being welcomed into a Balinese home - learning about Hinduism and their community - blessing our cooked food with his mother in the family temple …
I would give 10 stars if I could!!
