Houdini's Escape Room Experience - STAR CITY的点评
点评：We completed two escape rooms in Birmingham: Temple Raider and Sneaky Finders, and unfortunately both experiences were very disappointing.
Temple Raider was particularly poor. Several elements of the room were either broken or missing entirely. One chest would not open despite us entering the correct code, which meant the games master had to come into the room to fix it, breaking immersion completely. On top of that, the in-room communication didn’t work due to broken speakers, so once again the games master had to physically enter the room to give instructions. The room itself is extremely run down and clearly hasn’t been maintained to an acceptable standard.
Sneaky Finders was slightly better, but still far from good. Again, parts of the room appeared to be missing or not functioning properly, and the overall condition was very tired and neglected. For an escape room, where atmosphere and smooth gameplay are crucial, this really let the experience down.
Overall, both rooms felt poorly maintained and not ready for paying customers. Escape rooms rely on immersion, working puzzles, and good communication — all of which were lacking here. Sadly, we wouldn’t recommend either experience and won’t be returning.
