Jurassic Quest的点评
点评：Jurassic Quest was a fun outing for my child, but it definitely has room for improvement. I'd describe it as being geared primarily toward kids around ages 3–5, and for that age group, there's plenty to enjoy.
The biggest issue was the exhibit setup. Several of the animatronic dinosaurs were placed so close together that their moving tails and heads were actually hitting neighboring displays. Some appeared to be damaging each other, which made the exhibit feel poorly planned. Lighting was also inconsistent. Some dinosaurs were left in near darkness, making it difficult to see them, while other spotlights were aimed directly at visitors instead of the displays, making it frustrating to take photos.
One display featuring a dinosaur skull and jaw also seemed to be positioned awkwardly. Instead of viewing the front of the skull, it was angled so far to the side and back that you mostly saw the rear of it.
If you're planning to let your kids enjoy the inflatable play areas, bring socks. This wasn't mentioned anywhere in the information I saw beforehand, and my child arrived wearing sandals, so we had to adjust our plans.
The gift shop was another disappointment. Many of the toys were marked up significantly. Items that would normally cost around $10–15 elsewhere were selling for $50 or more.
The crowds were also intense. At opening, the lines were extremely long, with waits of 30 minutes or more for activities like face painting. If I could offer one tip, it would be to skip opening time and arrive a couple of hours before closing instead, when things are likely to be less crowded.
Also no staff any where only security guards.
Overall, my child had fun, and that's what matters most. However, between the exhibit issues, overcrowding, lack of information about the sock requirement, and expensive merchandise, it's not something I would personally do again. It was an enjoyable one-time experience, but not one I'd likely return to.
