下龙湾的点评
点评：We booked our private tour with a great company. The ride from Hanoi was long but well worth it. We had a private boat with just my husband, myself and our guide. They served lovely fruit and beverages onboard. We toured the cave, got on another small boat and saw the monkeys at Tuan Chau. The scenery is spectacular everywhere you look.
Our guide arranged for a special lunch at a floating restaurant among all this grandeur. We were met by the couple who own the restaurant a husband and wife. We were seated at a lovely table with a white tablecloth. They brought out different courses of food each delicious. We had so much food to eat, well over 10 wonderful courses. We then headed back after fabulous day.
From what I am reading February is a good month. No masses of people and boats. Just a quiet inviting atmosphere. It was not warm so maybe the trade off is we did not swim or go in the water at all. We never planned to so this was good for us.
