巴伦堡户外博物馆的点评
点评：It's exceptional because the admission is covered by the Swiss Travel Pass. But even if I had to pay out of my pocket , it was worth a visit. This place is huge. It has 2 entrances, a west one and an east one. We entered through the West, as we took the public bus from Brienz train station. We took our time to walk through the park. We spent 5 hrs easily covering what we would like to see. The path signage and the map provided were helpful. We had lunch at one of the restaurants,Gasthaus Degen. ( I recalled that there were at least 3 restaurants) The food and service we received were good.
There is also a complementary hop on and off trolley, that holds up to 36 people. We took this at the east gate to return to the west gate where we exit the park. There are horse drawn carriage ,too which one had to pay as an option.
This is an educational place for the whole family. We didn't have time to participate in any workshop. But we watch some briefly. It would have been fun .
