点评:We planned our entire trip destination around going to EdVenture, but sadly, this was a mistake. My daughter wants to be a doctor. She’s wanted to be one since she was 2, and she is currently 8. It is more of an obsession at this point. So, when we saw that there is a museum with a 30-foot tall human that you can climb through and see his organs, we planned our entire trip around it. Yes, there is a 30-foot tall human. Yes, you can climb around inside of it. Is it educational? Not really. Is it interactive? Nope. It is a giant jungle gym. It is hard plastic. There are plastic organs and tubes that slightly resemble possibly blood vessels…? I don’t know what I was expecting… maybe lights in the brain that are supposed to symbolize brain waves or maybe lungs that inflate and deflate or how about even signs that show you what each organ is and what they do…? They had signs on the stairs AWAY from the climbing area, but the kids were all so excited about this jungle gym that none of them read what each organ did nor did they know which organ was which. My daughter informed me of every anatomical inaccuracy, and there were quite a few. True, there were other areas of the museum that shared medical knowledge, but so does every children’s museum. We were just expecting more. Since the museum advertises this human “Eddie” a ton, I focused my review on him. Other than him, it was a typical children’s museum. Nothing really special about it. I had planned 2 days at the museum. It took us around 2 hours.
