We were traveling with our 8-month-old baby, and Mr. Slimy proved to be extremely reliable, punctual, patient, and caring throughout our entire trip. His base is in Weligama, and he accompanied us on our journey from Colombo to Bentota, Mirissa, and Galle.
What truly sets him apart is how thoughtful he is about passenger comfort. He consistently went the extra mile to make sure we were relaxed and satisfied. During lunch breaks or stops, he even took care of our baby so that we could enjoy our meals together peacefully—something we deeply appreciated as parents.
He also helped us in many practical ways:
Arranged USD currency exchange at better rates than the airport
Took us to genuine gem shops with reasonable pricing
Guided us to good souvenir shops and helped us bargain in the local language
Paid special attention to our food preferences, driving extra distances to find the best places to eat
Mr. Slimy never denied any request, was always smiling, polite, and extremely professional. Communication was never an issue—he can speak Hindi, Urdu, English, and local Sri Lankan languages, which made our journey very smooth. Payment was also flexible; we were able to pay him in multiple currencies, including INR.
