点评：Remote River Expeditions arranged an incredible and very wild 3 day journey by pirogue (traditional fishing sailing boat) down the coast from Morondava for our family of 5. They organised it at short notice and with great expertise.
The price was reasonable and included accommodation (hotel and camping depending on location), food, pirogue hire (with a crew of 2 experienced local fisherman) and a driver to relocate our 4x4 to a remote part of the coast where we finished our pirogue journey. They had thought of every detail and an entirely bespoke plan worked perfectly.
The pirogue captain Totovo was an extraordinary man and a great travel companion. He never stopped smiling, was exceptionally competent on land or water and, totally unexpectedly, was one the best cooks we have ever met - a banquet cooked fresh from the sea on a remote island beach has to be a life highlight!
This journey was wild and perhaps not everyone’s idea of a holiday but we loved it and can thoroughly recommend this company and these individuals to arrange other journeys.
