点评:We have wanted to attend a traditional German Christmas market for years and with this being promoted as the best one in the country we were very excited to attend. This was a 4 hour drive each way and an overnight stay.
I wish I had taken more pictures to show how crowded it really was.
We arrived around 4:30 at the shuttle bus from remote parking. They had one full size and one small bus running perhaps every 15 to 20 minutes but may have been longer. There were more people waiting than would fit on the buses so you may end up waiting over half an hour for the bus. We were lucky and able to squeeze in standing in the middle.
Once we arrived we began to see how crowded it was. You could only shuffle along and it was elbow to elbow the entire time. It was hard to stop and see anything because if you stopped to look people were pushing past the entire time.
We really wanted to try some of the foods but the food lines were crazy also. People were saying they waited 45 minutes for a pretzel and the line for sausage was at least an hour long.
Even the very few bathrooms we saw looked to be half hour lines.
And to top it all off, lots of people were trying to take selfies or read / post social media.
We do a lot of Florida theme parks and this was more crowded than the busiest times of the year at Disney. If giant crowds are your thing, this may be for you. For us we ended up driving back home and don’t plan to return.
They need 4 times the space and 4 times the vendors to make this enjoyable.
