A Must Visit While Exploring Coorg 🍁

点评：Last November, I visited Abbey Falls without expecting this much! But honestly, this place completely surprised me with bounty of its own sparkles!
📍How to Reach :
To reach the waterfall, we first came to the point till which our bus was allowed. Then, we had to to walk a little. There was also the jeep service available till the main entry point. You better choose that [especially for elder people]. Now, you may need to buy a ticket of Rs. 10 to enter there. After that, we had to hike around 150–200 steps through greenery. There were countless trees of different spices. You can literally spot almost every spice, that we use everyday. Also, it was not too crowded that day. Therefore, the walk itself honestly felt beautiful and very refreshing.
And then comes the best part — the waterfall.🕊️
You cannot go directly near it, but there is a viewing bridge and a watchtower made. From there, the view looks absolutely stunning. The sound of the water, the greenery around, and the cool breeze together make the place feel so magical. It truly feels like nature at one of its best.
🔹 Other things about the place:
One more thing I should add here was the local shops selling homemade wines. You must try them. The taste and flavours are very different from regular commercial wines. Definitely, it’ll be a very unique experience. There are also coconut water stalls nearby. So, if you feel tired after climbing the steps, you can refresh yourself by the coconut water. 🌴
✨ Pro Tips :
✅ Wear comfortable shoes because the steps can get tiring.
✅ Visit just after monsoon for the best view.
✅ Be careful as the stairs can be slippery.
✅ Don’t rush. Spend some time enjoying the sound and beauty of the place.
Overall, it was such a peaceful and beautiful experience in Coorg. Definitely worth visiting. ✨👍
