佩纳宫的点评
点评：Pena Palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, completed in 1854 for Ferdinand II of Portugal and Maria II of Portugal. It’s one of the most famous landmarks in Portugal and looks stunning in photos, which is a big reason many people visit.
However, my experience was a bit disappointing. The weather didn’t cooperate—it started raining and then turned very foggy, so visibility was poor and the palace lost much of its visual impact. Many visitors seemed to finish their visit quite quickly (around 15–20 minutes).
Having visited many palaces, museums, and cathedrals across Europe, I found this one less impressive than expected. My advice: try to visit in good weather to fully enjoy the views, and consider taking a Bolt or taxi to the park entrance for convenience once you arrive in Sintra. If you’ve already seen many palaces, you might instead enjoy spending more time exploring Sintra’s charming old town, which has a more relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
