点评：This was a really neat experience. It is around a 40-minute train ride from the Salzburg train station with OBB. You then have a shuttle option from the station (you have to call an hour in advance) or you can walk to the parking lot/entrance to the fortress. While the walk is well-marked (start by crossing the bridge and quickly turning right), it is around a 30-minute walk and involves some uphill walking along the side of a busy road with fast-driving cars and no sidewalk. To avoid that road there is another trail you can take from this trail once you start the incline that takes you through the woods to walk to the fortress (it looked steep and you would need good shoes). Once at the fortress parking lot (where you pay) you can take an inclined elevator to the fortress or walk up a path to the fortress. They have tours during the day (e.g. 1 PM) where you do an audio tour in your language with a Deutsch-speaking guide. This tour is necessary to see the various rooms, torture room, clock tower, etc. There is also the falconry display twice a day (with a lot of birds of prey besides falcons) that is absolutely worth seeing. I would suggest spending 3-4 hours here. There is a restaurant in the courtyard too. They serve sausages, burgers, fries, desserts, beer/sodas, and some salad options. If you want to get closer to the mountains than you would in Salzburg, this is a great way to do it.
