Twin Oaks Tavern Winery的点评
点评：One of the best views at a winery in Virginia and a very charming tasting room. The new owner also seems very nice. But that is where the good ends - the pours were very small and very expensive (3 1/2oz pours for $18) and not particularly notable. For example, a PV/Tannot blend had none of the big bold flavors such wine should have. Additionally, the bottles are overpriced ($45 for the above mentioned PV/Tannot). At the end of the day, it wasn't worth it to us at this time
All of that said, the new owner should get points for doing creative things to drive business to include live music, hikes, etc. Additionally, she is working with a very good wine consultant to bring new life to the winery. While this isn't worth it for us at this time, I do wish the new owner the very very best and will consider coming back in a year or two when they have their own wines.
