Need More Cohesive Plot

点评：We attended the musical on 9/10/25.
Pros:
1. Lively, energetic dancing and singing, great band.
2. Very good acoustics.
3. Very nice stage sets.
4. Beautiful setting in outdoor amphitheater.
5. Loved the horses climbing up to “San Juan Hill” and the fireworks.
6. Very organized exit - dismissed by row.
Cons:
1. Very inconsistent, disjointed theme or plot. Didn’t flow well.
2. Too much emphasis on 60th anniversary and founders.
3. Cheesy - Sheriff Bear and Prairie Rose didn’t add anything to the story line.
4. Children’s segment didn’t add anything to the storyline either. It felt like a filler.
5. Expensive tickets.
Despite an energetic performance, the lack of a cohesive storyline was disappointing. My husband enjoyed the show more than I did. The shows change every summer, so I hope the storyline will be better defined.
Tip: We bought shuttle tickets along with the same-day show tickets. It was the best move we made. There was a lot of road construction going up the hill to the amphitheater.
