Disappointing. Visit cut to 5 minutes due to preparation for a wedding

点评：We arrived at 3.50 pm after a long drive south from the dismal Langley Castle Hotel. We were told to visit the Great Hall as that was the main thing to see. We entered the Hall at 3.55 pm and were promptly told that we had 5 minutes because the staff were preparing for a wedding. It was a Thursday afternoon. I asked why we had only 5 minutes as the Castle was advertised as open to the public till 5.00 pm. We were told that the wedding started at 5.00 and the staff had much preparation to do. So we literally ran between rooms and took a few quick photos. A young woman followed us around adding to the pressure. We had to manoeuvre around the tables and chairs being set up as we were escorted out of the building.
Not much else to see. We climbed the wall. A nice green aspect to the courtyard and grounds.
No opportunity to learn about the history or anything about the castle.
The garden maze was good especially for kids.
