Gwydir Castle的点评
点评：I love this place! All the more so after reading Castles in the Air by Judy Corbett one of the owners of this amazing life-long restoration project. Highly recommend visiting and taking your time wandering around the place both inside and out.
Do take warm clothes as it can get a little chilly with all the thick stone walls and flags.
There are laminated sheets explaining the items in the room and the previous families and the history of the building, but the book describes all the sweat and tears Judy and Peter went through from beginning to where they're at now. I won't say end because this restoration will never end!
They’ve both spent their lives sourcing and bring back the original belongings of the castle and they continue to do so.
We had a little more time around the outside today because it's always been raining when we've come and the building is just exquisite and felt like we'd travelled back in time! It's been so sympathetically restored.
Massive bonus for our visit today was that it's breeding time for the resident peacocks so they put on a full display for us... a VERY noisy one at that!!! So unbothered about us carefully passing them and sooooo majestic!
Plenty of parking and a covered area for refreshments in the summer months. No dogs allowed as the owners have their own dogs and, of course, the peacocks wouldn't take kindly to dogs!

这里有充足的停车位，夏季还有带顶棚的休息区供游客享用茶点。由于主人自己养狗，而且孔雀当然也不喜欢狗，所以这里不允许携带宠物犬。
