点评：Michael (Miguel) was a fantastic guide, he is extremely knowledgeable about all of the wildlife we saw on the tour - including three monkey species, two sloth species and more tropical bird species than I could count. We drove for around 45 mins before getting on the boat, including a bathroom stop. We were on the boat for around 2.5hrs, for a small section we were among huge ships in the Panama Canal, and the majority of our time was spend moving from island to island looking for wildlife (which was abundant). The group was small so Michael would ensure we all spotted each species before morning on. He brought a laser pointer to help us spot animals that were further away or camouflaged well and he had an incredibly sharp eye. After returning to land, we drove to another spot and spent around 1hr walking through the rainforest, Michael brought a telescope to help us see sloths high up in the trees, and smaller bird species. After the walk we had a small picnic with fresh fruit, snacks and water. Michael answered everyone’s questions with great detail, and I feel that I really learned a lot.
