Climb to the Roof of Duomo
米兰大教堂的点评
点评：Already had tickets and entry time. Easy, fast line to check in. Security was a wand and a quick look in my bag. Orange gate on the left side is the pre-check for ticketed guests who want to climb up.
Our tour was to include the rooftop, so we expected to climb stairs. And its a LOT of stairs. Obviously ancient and uneven. A little tough, but worth it. Dont attempt this if you are not able to climb or walk on slanted ground. Ladies behind me were huffing and puffing and moaning and complaining. Funny/not funny.
The roof has an amazing view of the intricate architecture and spires. And a great view of the city and Emanuel II. Once on the roof, you will be on angled stone most of the time, with a single path that is flat. If you want to see things you have to walk on the slanted part. It is completely safe, but a few folks slipped because they were not paying attention. You won't fall off the building and die....just maybe bump your butt. .. well, maybe die of embarrassment...?
Lots of great photo ops. Tour ends in the inside of the church. Some AC, but it is super steamy in there.
Also... the dress code. You dont have to have shoulders and knees covered unless you go in the center of the nave where you sit and be quiet. You CAN go around the edges of the room without suiting up. If you forget, they have some coverings I saw people wear. Not cute, but it works. Not sure if free or for sale. Most ladies wore longer dresses and used a shawl for shoulders when entering. I had a long sleeve linen shirt tied over my shoulders and the guy was fine with it. Im told it depends on who is standing there at the time.
You can bring your water bottle in with you. Highly suggest doing so.
This did not take as long as we expected. Maybe a little over an hour depending on how long you stop and stare at the views or stay in the cathedral.

有很多绝佳的拍照机会。游览终点在教堂内部。里面有空调，但里面还是闷热得要命。
还有……着装要求。其实没必要非得遮住肩膀和膝盖，除非你要走到教堂中央、靠近座位的地方并保持安静。你只需要在教堂四周走动的话，不用特意着装也行。如果忘了带合适的衣物，那里也有一些人穿的遮盖物，不过样子不怎么好看，但总算能用。不清楚这些遮盖物是免费提供还是需要购买的。大多数女士进入时都穿着较长的连衣裙，还会披上披肩。我则在肩上披了一件长袖亚麻衬衫，那位工作人员也没说什么。据说这要看当时在场的是谁来决定。
可以自带水瓶进入，强烈建议这么做。
整个过程并没有我们预想的那么久。大概一个多小时吧，具体时间取决于你停下来欣赏风景或在大教堂里停留的时间长短。
