点评:Wow! What an experience. I’m not a hiker, but really wanted to see Edinburgh from the top of Arthurs Peak. Even from the bottom, the area is beautiful. We went as a family with a 5 and 14 year old.
The walk was a bit tough for me. I was clocking a heart rate of 169 at one point, but that’s just my fitness level! There is a bit of a resting point 3/4 up which was welcomed, and then the rest of the walk was absolutely fine.
My 14 year old loved it and now wants to more hikes! My 5 year old is incredibly lazy so went up on my husbands shoulders most of the way. As soon as it got a bit rocky though, he got straight off and loved climbing the rest of the way.
There were lots of people there, but it didn’t seem overcrowded at all. Once at the top, I could have stayed for hours. It was so peaceful and I loved looking out over the city.
Would highly recommend.
