米拉贝尔宫及花园的点评
点评：The palace itself was built in early 17th century by the archbishop for his mistress but later she was thrown out and the palace was renamed to his present name which means wonderful from the italian word mirabile. The palace was remodeled later to his present baroque style.
Now the palace is the mayor and administrative offices of the city.
The garden compromises 4 main areas, the small dwarf garden one of the oldest in europe with now 17 dwarves, the theater at the west, the large area with the central fountain representing the 4 elements of the earth and finally the smaller area with the pegasus.
It is ideal to spend a couple of hours admiring the beauty of the gardens, especially that this UNESCO world heritage complex is a free admission.
It is well known that many scenes of the famous movie "sound of music" were shot there.
Very likely you can find marriage photo sessions in the gardens in front of the palace.
