点评:I'd done my research ahead of going, so knew where to park, which was a good job because from the direction we arrived there were no signs, but I recognised the layby.
We walked through the woods, which were a little slippy in places after all the rain, and after some distance and no sight of the bridge, we weren't quite sure where we were going, so asked a dog walker, who directed us to steps leading down into the gorge. A wooden footbridge leads over the river and then a footpath winds back, following the river. This is well worth doing as there are a number of small falls and it's very picturesque. Eventually we arrived at the Double bridge, which has a few steps leading down to a path where you get the best view.
Of course we then came straight out at the other end of the bridge, by the layby where we'd parked the car, so if all you want to see is the bridge, then walk across it from the layby and enter there. As we left, we then passed a dedicated car park for the bridge which I'd never found, so don't worry too much if you can't park in the layby.
