Disappointed
The Lost Colony的点评
点评：I've wanted to visit The Lost Colony for over 20 years. Our last visit, with our young family, was wonderful. I loved the history, and the costumes, and the live outdoor theater.
So, on a whim, we packed an overnight bag and off we went from Virginia Beach. We arrived in plenty of time to take in the full experience. I'd read about the 1M $ improvements done over the last few years and was excited to see the changes. The stage and backdrop and sitting areas were as I remembered. I'd read about the strobe light addition and looked forward to how it would enhance the show.
My enthusiasm was diminished from the opening. We were seated in the center section, 4th row. But after intermission we moved to some upper level seats. The volume was deafening at both locations. And the dialogue was EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to understand. We left at the conclusion of the performance.
It was extremely disappointing and honestly I don't think I could recommend the show to anyone! If I had taken my granddaughters I think they would not have enjoyed it either.
