A Perfect Day on the Amalfi Coast with Roberto (The Man from Amalfi)

点评：We had the absolute pleasure of booking the “Beauty & Flavor of the Mediterranean” tour with Amalfi Coast Destination, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. From the very beginning, communication with the company was excellent, with every detail clear and easy to arrange, which made the experience stress-free and enjoyable.
Our driver, Roberto ( who spoke perfect English), was simply outstanding. Right from the first winding turn on the Amalfi Drive (of which there are 1001 he told us), he made sure we were comfortable and kept us both informed and entertained. He was engaging, educational, humorous, and thoughtful throughout the entire day...and helped me with my Italian pronunciation. His knowledge of the area and his ability to point out interesting sights, history, and hidden gems made the journey just as enjoyable as the destinations themselves. He even stopped at the best spots for photos, and we’ve brought home some amazing memories thanks to him.
Our first stop was Amalfi, where we explored the charming town. I even climbed the steps to the beautiful Duomo di Sant’Andrea, which felt particularly special as it shares my name. From there, Roberto took us higher into the mountains, with scenic photo stops along the way, until we reached Ravello, a place so stunning it’s hard to put into words. It’s genuinely one of the most beautiful spots I’ve ever visited.
The day continued into Tramonti, where we enjoyed a family-run vineyard tour, several glasses of excellent wine, and a fantastic lunch overlooking the hills. It was a perfect combination of breathtaking views, culture, and authentic local flavours.
Despite the full day, Roberto’s skilful and smooth driving made the journey back feel effortless.
From start to finish, my wife and I were delighted with the whole experience.
I cannot recommend Amalfi Coast Destination highly enough, and if you have the chance, ask for Roberto.
He was amazing, and this tour gave us memories we will treasure forever.
