Materuni Coffee & Waterfalls Trail的点评
点评：This was one of the most fun things we have done on our trip to Tanzania. Firstly the scenery is exquisite and the hike to the falls goes through beautiful landscapes. Vendors sell the usual souvenirs along the way and you can buy bananas, passionfruit and avocados for next to nothing. You should buy some as they are all delicious (better than Australian ones!). Then there is the magical waterfall. Two of the family had a swim but the water is pretty cold. Nicer to take your shoes off and sit on a rock with your feet in the water.
Once back to the village we had a lot of fun de-shelling the coffee beans, roasting them, grinding them and then making and drinking the lovely fresh organic coffee. This was followed by a delicious lunch prepared by our guide's mama. But really, like all tours, it is the tour guide who can make a good tour great and our Chugga guide Kelvin was magnificent. Funny with lots of info to share and he took the best photos and videos. He and his friends were so much fun! Despite the very tedious traffic back to Arusha, this was excellent from start to finish!
Once back to the village we had a lot of fun de-shelling the coffee beans, roasting them, grinding them and then making and drinking the lovely fresh organic coffee.
