The Botanical Garden of Medellín is located in the north area of the city. It is a so beautiful park and the atmosphere is such relaxing that you forget the traffic. It has many green spaces and a big lake with ducks. This is a such peaceful place for families because you can connect with nature. The famous Orquideorama is an incredible structure that makes the garden looking very modern and unique.

When you visit the garden, you will see a lot of beautiful iguanas walking around. Visitors will be able to enjoy a delicious lunch at the restaurant inside an old train. Next month, they will open a new butterfly exhibition, so people are going to love that. You will can take amazing photos of the tropical flowers. I went to this garden last year during a sunny weekend with my friends. While we were walking near the lake, we saw a very big turtle. We had a wonderful time because the weather was perfect.
