My First Scuba Dive — An Experience I’ll Never Forget

点评：This was my first time ever scuba diving, and as a solo traveler, I was definitely nervous going into it. From the very beginning, Shanelle and Jadin were amazing. They were incredibly helpful with all of my emails, answered all of my questions, and made me feel comfortable before I even got in the water.
The pool session with Ty was a huge help. He patiently taught me the basics and helped me get comfortable breathing underwater. By the end of the session, I felt much more confident and ready for the actual dives the next day.
The next day was when the real adventure began! Our first dive site was Valleys, where we used a rope to descend underwater. Mirko was fantastic at helping me get down and reminding me to equalize every meter along the way. Once we reached the bottom, my nerves started to disappear, and I was able to relax and take in the incredible underwater world around me.
Our second dive was at Purple Rain, and by then I felt much more comfortable underwater. I reached around 10 meters (about 30 feet), and it felt like we stayed underwater even longer than during the first dive. Mirko was constantly checking in on me throughout both dives, which made me feel safe, comfortable, and confident.
What started as something I was really nervous about ended up being an incredible experience that made me want to go scuba diving again. I honestly may just have to come back to Grenada and dive with them again! I can’t thank Shanelle, Jadin, Ty, Mirko and the rest of the team enough for making my first scuba diving experience such a memorable one. Highly recommend!
