Wonderful Food and History Tour
St. Augustine Experiences的点评
点评：My husband and I did the food tour with Alex. This was our second tour with St. Augustine Experiences, as we did the cocktails and wine tour last year.
When they say “come hungry”, they aren’t kidding! We met Alex at our first stop, a Polish/Greek restaurant. The food was delicious and we had a great time talking with Alex about Poland and his upcoming group tour.
We loved learning about the history of St. Augustine. Alex was very knowledgeable and exuberant as he talked about it while leading us around the city. It so happened that it was just my husband and me, so it was more of a personal tour.
Our next stop was Forgotten Tonic, a place that quickly became a favorite of ours. The food was fantastic! We had a focaccia that was definitely the best I’d ever had and an absolutely incredible artichoke dip. We were lucky enough to meet the executive chef, and enjoyed chatting with her.
I could have been happy ending the tour there, but on to the next! An Irish pub was our next stop. The place was lively, the people were super friendly and the food was very good. Alex shared more history of St. Augustine while we ate.
Our final stop was a fabulous hand crafted ice cream shop, Mayday, which has an interesting history. Alex got each of us a sampler of three flavors which we selected. The ice cream was heavenly! Sadly, that was our last stop but I couldn’t have eaten another thing.
We had a wonderful time, and I can’t recommend this tour enough! It is clear that Alex enjoys people and loves sharing the history of St. Augustine.
I also highly recommend the wine and cocktails experience.

我本来可以很满足地结束这次旅行，但下一站却让我们意犹未尽！下一站是一家爱尔兰酒吧。这里热闹非凡，人们热情友好，食物也美味极了。用餐期间，Alex 还为我们讲解了更多关于圣奥古斯丁的历史。
我们的最后一站是一家名为 Mayday 的手工冰淇淋店，这家店有着一段有趣的过往。Alex 为我们每人准备了三种口味的冰淇淋拼盘，让我们自己挑选。冰淇淋简直太美味了！可惜，这是我们此行的最后一站，但我已经吃饱喝足，再也吃不下了。
我们度过了一段美好的时光，我强烈推荐这次旅行！Alex 显然很喜欢与人交流，也乐于分享圣奥古斯丁的历史。
我还强烈推荐葡萄酒和鸡尾酒体验。
