点评：My first vacation with CDV was the Tuscany/Soriano tour. I was told about CDV by a friend and it sounded like so much fun, that my friend and I thought it would be an excellent vacation for two single women who love food, cooking and seeing the sites. CDV was scheduled to pick us up from the train but unfortunately, we missed the correct train which caused us to miss our CDV pick up time. Panicked, we were so fortunate that Michael, the owner, himself came to get us as he was near the train station. This was amazing to me and was just the start of a fantastic week. Throughout the week, the Customer Service stood out as one of the most memorable experiences of the vacation.
After a full week, I do not have one negative comment about our time. We stayed in a quaint little home in the small town of Soriano. Just lovely. Throughout the week, everything we might want was at our disposal. They went above and beyond to ensure that our every want was met. In addition, we loved the team. Tomas, our main tour guide did an excellent job. The group that taught our cooking lessons, led by Carla, were always so accommodating and we just loved the meals we were taught and came home and hosted friends to these dishes. A great success!
In addition, the tours around Tuscany were amazing. We saw so much of the region that we could not have done on a vacation organized by ourselves. Every meal was taken care of for us and the locations were all so special and well planned.
If you want a worry-free vacation hosted by people that want you to be happy, then I definitely recommend CDV. We met some wonderful people in our tour group and this “family” feel makes the vacation so much more to enjoy. I enjoyed my vacation so much so, that I am going on second tour in June to northern Italy and another tour in September to Portugal.
