City Mountaineering的点评
点评：A group of 8 girlfriends signed up to a winter skills week end with City Mountaineering and what a great week end.
We were safely and expertly led by Katie whose mountain experience shone through which meant that both days were organised brilliantly around the weather. We ended up walking up Ben Nevis on the Saturday and despite Katie warning us that an ascent may not be possible we did manage to reach the summit before the winds and snow set in. We were able to try crampons for the first time for the last part of the snowy climb up and then the journey down.
The company had booked us into The Ben Nevis Inn which is at the foot of the mountain. The food, staff, views and accommodation were all great!
Sunday was spent over at Anoch Moor where we went up the cable car to find the correct face of snow for some more winter skills training with ice axes.
Everything worked like clockwork and I would fully recommend the company.
