点评：Schönbrunn Palace is one of those places where you think you’ll pop in for a quick visit and suddenly realize you need the whole day! We visited on my birthday and absolutely loved it.
The palace itself is beautiful and packed with history, but the gardens are what really make this place special. There’s so much to explore—huge landscaped gardens, fountains, multiple labyrinths, the Gloriette sitting high on the hill, Roman ruins and even the world’s oldest existing zoo, Tiergarten Schönbrunn.
And just when you think you’ve seen it all… keep walking! 😂 The grounds are enormous, so wear comfortable shoes and give yourself plenty of time. There’s a lot of walking and some uphill sections, especially if you head toward the Gloriette.
Marie Antoinette was born here, and Schönbrunn was home to generations of Habsburg royalty. Standing there trying to imagine 1,441 rooms in your “house” is pretty wild!
Definitely one of Vienna’s must-see attractions. Plan for several hours—ideally most of a day—and don’t skip the gardens! 👑❤️
