点评：What a magnificent experience! Patrick Hahn was spellbinding to watch as he brought together this spectacular production of “le Nozze di Figaro” we were fortunate enough to secure front row seats and the mutual
Respect between the conductor and the world famous Vienna philharmonic orchestra.
The staging was so effective, creating a claustrophobic feeling supporting the idea of the characters being trapped. Hahn’s frenetic pace added to the comedic elements and the magnification effects upon the wall of the set emphasised characters’ feelings of despair and panic!
Riccardo Fassi’s bass baritone Figaro was charismatic, amusing and compelling. All performances were stunning
I loved Barrie Kosky’s concept of the minimalist staging which stripped away the lavish surroundings of court life and replaced it with a far more psychological study.
Well done to all. Congratulations to Patrick Hahn for achieving such a pacy and united performance! Bravo!
