点评：The bison may be quite some distance away, as the viewing area is at one end of the sanctuary. Also note that both google maps and apple maps directions are wrong for the last couple of steps. If you take their route on crane road and cross south bound highway 63, you will end up on a private road clearly marked as no entry, which appears to be construction or mining. You also can’t go left on southbound 63 to get to the actual entrance, as you would be going the wrong way on the highway. The right way to get to the actual entrance to the bison sanctuary is to continue on highway 63 north, do the loop at the end of 63 to get on southbound 63, and then you can turn right into the entrance to the bison sanctuary from southbound 63. On the plus side, by taking the highway 63 loop, you can also see the “giants of mining” exhibit , which is quite interesting.
